Alycia Debnam-Carey is now a household name thanks to her run as Lexa on The 100. She currently stars as Alicia on Fear The Walking Dead and recently spoke about the differences between her two characters.

Alycia Debnam-Carey shot to stardom as the wise and fierce Commander Lexa on The 100. Unfortunately Lexa is no longer with us on The 100, however we still get to see Debnam-Carey in action on Fear The Walking Dead, albeit in an entirely different persona. One could say that Lexa and Alicia are complete opposites of each other and both roles really show off Debnam-Carey's acting skills. Speaking to Interview Magazine the actress dished on what it's like transitioning from one hit show to another. When asked what the biggest difference between Lexa and Alicia is, Debnam-Carey responded: "To go from playing a character that was so self-assured, so mature beyond her years, and so kick-ass and ruthless to someone who's quite normal is interesting. Playing normal is hard; especially playing normal that's not you. The biggest challenge in playing Alicia is trying to make a teenage girl seem fully formed and not the quintessential moody teenager with a quippy, sassy line here and there."

Alycia Debnam-Carey recently reflected on the first half of Fear The Walking Dead's sophomore season. Her character has made huge strides to adapt and survive in the new world of the zombie apocalypse. Alicia was in the dark about what was really going on for the better part of Season 1, but despite a few mishaps (Alicia telling strangers all of the Abigail's personal info) she's gotten up to speed in the current season. As for her iconic role as Lexa, fans are still enraged by the character's death - and it happened back in March! As much as we miss Lexa on The 100, we're super excited to see what Debnam-Carey's Alicia gets up to in the second half of Fear. Executive producer Gale Anne Hurd has teased a "blood verse bond" theme for the rest of FTWD Season 2 and here at melty we're curious to see how that impacts Alicia and the rest of the Clarke/Manawa/Salazar clan. Which Alycia Debnam-Carey character do you prefer: Lexa or Alicia?
