Guardians of the Galaxy 2's director, James Gunn, has teased on Twitter that he might be showing some footage from the movie at San Diego Comic Con. Read on for more details!
The Guardians of the Galaxy are coming to Comic-Con and James Gunn might have some footage for the lucky ones who'll be attending their panel. Comic-Con has now become the place for superhero films to debut their trailers, and even show the odd bit of footage to eager fans. James Gunn and Chris Pratt confirmed that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be coming to this year's Comic-Con, which got us very excited indeed, and then we realized that we don't have any tickets for the show, so now we're sad. We were wondering whether they'll show a teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con, and if James Gunn is to be believed, some footage. Check out his tweets below.
You might get something if you go to our presentation at San Diego Comic Con... other than that, it'll be a while. https://t.co/w9sYY9QyYz— James Gunn (@JamesGunn) July 4, 2016
Because footage created for Comicon is generally for one viewing only. Usually the VFX aren't finished. https://t.co/MhsrGQAdc8— James Gunn (@JamesGunn) July 4, 2016
So according to Gunn's tweets, people attending the presentation at Comic-Con will get to see something very special. Guardians Vol. 2 has only just finished filming, so the footage may be a little bit rough since it's pretty early on in the post-production stage, but we're confident it'll still be worth the watch. We're still unsure whether Gunn, Pratt and co. will actually preview the trailer during their panel, but it would sure be a wonderful way to reward the many fans who have been so supportive of the project. Guardians of the Galaxy ranks very highly among our favorite Marvel films ever. We'd put it in our top three, and it's pushing for the top spot. Gunn made something very unique and we can't wait to see his follow up movie. Guardian Vol. 2 is scheduled for release on May 5, 2017. Do you think there'll be some footage of Guardians Vol. 2 at Comic-Con?
