Guardians of the Galaxy 2's set received a visit from Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland

Spider-Man himself, Tom Holland, went to visit the set of Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and got to spend some time and take a picture with Dave Bautista and Michael Rooker.

Tom Holland is currently gearing up to play Spider-Man once again in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which will be his first outing as Marvel's most popular superhero in his standalone movie. We all got to see how good he is in the role in Captain America: Civil War, but that was only a short snippet of what we should expect from the young British actor. But let's not forget about Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, which is also scheduled for release in 2017. It seems that Holland certainly hasn't, as he paid the set of Vol. 2 a visit, and got to meet and take a picture with two of the film's stars: Dave Bautista and Michael Rooker. Check out the image below, courtesy of Bautista's Twitter account.

Before we all get overly excited, this picture does not mean that we'll be seeing a Spider-Man cameo in James Gunn's Guardians 2. Fans almost certainly won't be getting to see Peter Parker meet Peter Quill in the next Guardians movie. We all got a bit too excited about James Gunn posing in a picture with Thor's hammer. Many people claimed that this meant we were going to see Thor turn up in Vol. 2, but James Gunn's since debunked those rumors by openly stating that Thor will NOT be in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel. However, what this does show is the sense of camaraderie and fan service that we love to see from the MCU gang. They're all one big happy family and are welcoming Tom Holland, and Spider-Man, into the fold. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be in cinemas on May 5, 2017, followed by Spider-Man: Homecoming on July 7, 2017. Are you looking forward to Guardians Vol. 2?
