James Gunn is hard at work on Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and it looks like Elizabeth Debicki will be playing the film's villain, Ayesha!

Elizabeth Debicki is no stranger to playing the villain. She delivered a fine performance as Victoria in Guy Ritchie's The Man from U.N.C.L.E., who was the film's main villain. She certainly gave Henry Cavill and Armie Hammer a run for their money in that movie. Debicki's more recently been on our TV screens in The Night Manager, acting alongside James Bond hopeful, Tom Hiddleston. She's a brilliant young talent, and knows how to play the villain. She obviously caught James Gunn's eye, who cast her in his sequel to Guardians of the Galaxy. New rumors suggest that Debicki will be playing Ayesha, who goes by many other names, including: Her, Kismet and Paragon.

According to JoBlo, whose scoops usually end up being accurate, Debicki will play Ayesha, the film's main villain. We already knew that Pom Klementieff had been cast as Mantis and that James Gunn has acquired the services of Kurt Russell for Guardians 2. However, we aren't 100% sure whether Russell will be playing Peter Quill's father yet (we think he will be). His performance must have been something special because James Gunn and Chris Pratt got all emotional about him on Twitter. However, the news that Debicki will be playing Ayesha has us pretty excited because her introduction into the MCU means that we could get to see her creators, The Enclave, somewhere down the line. They are a group of scientists who are obsessed with creating the perfect genetic beings. They also want world domination, like many bad guys. Do you like the sound of Debicki as Ayesha?
