Suicide Squad, check out the Joker and Harley Quinn in these new character posters

Suicide Squad is just around the corner, which means the promotional material is rolling out thick and fast. Check out Suicide Squad's new character posters below!

Suicide Squad is so close, we can't wait! Only a few more weeks until we get to see DC Comics' "WORST. HEROES. EVER.", as they like to bill them, on the big screen. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Killer Croc, Enchantress, Captain Boomerang... They're all coming together for David Ayer's movie, which will be loosely based on the Suicide Squad comics. As well as boasting some of DC's most infamous villains, Suicide Squad features some of Hollywood's biggest actors. Will Smith, Jared Leto and Margot Robbie are all household names, and Cara Delevingne's face is on so many billboards around the world, you'd be hard pushed to find someone who doesn't recognise her. Having said that, she's unrecognisable in the poster below as Enchantress. And take a gander at the other character posters courtesy of Comicbook.com.

The members of Amanda Waller's Task Force X look like they'll all be captivating onscreen presences, but Jared Leto's Joker seems to be grabbing more headlines than the rest. David Ayer was quoted stating that Leto's Joker is "absolutely incredible". It goes without saying that we are all very excited to see what the Oscar winning actor will do in the role which has been taken on by so many talented actors in the past. He'll be joining the likes of Jack Nicholson, Heath Ledger, Cesar Romero and Mark Hamill. All of these actors have put their own unique spin on the supervillain and it looks like Leto's done exactly that with his version of Gotham's most dangerous clown. Leto himself stated that his Suicide Squad Joker is only second to the Devil. That's one bold statement. We can't wait to see how evil his Joker will be when Suicide Squad hit cinemas on August 5, 2016. Will you be watching Suicide Squad on the day of release?
