Singer Rita Ora has confirmed her return to the Fifty Shades Darker set with an intriguing Snapchat image
Filming continues over in Vancouver on the second installment in Universal's Fifty Shades saga, with actors Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson recently filming the novel's iconic 'alley kiss' over at Yaletown's Roundhouse Community Center. The duo are set to reprise their roles as Christian Grey and Ana Steele following the astronomical success of debut outing Fifty Shades of Grey back in 2015, and they're not the only familiar faces we can expect to see when the sequel hits screens in February next year. Following a recent slew of photos from the set of Fifty Shades Darker, singer-turned-actress Rita Ora shared the first photo of Mia Grey's return to set via Snapchat earlier this week.
Ora seemed to be in the process of being fitted for a wig, but with Mia's ill-advised black bob the object of many a caricature following the release of the first film, we're wondering whether the character is in line for a makeover ahead of Darker hitting screens. The singer's performance was panned by critics, but despite original director Sam Taylor-Wood and screenwriter Kelly Marcel opting out of involvement with the sequel, producers clearly think Ora - who's set to appear in both Fifty Shades Darker and final film Fifty Shades Freed - is a safe bet. It remains to be seen whether Mia will be given more dialogue in the second and third films, but with an expanding cast including Bella Heathcote, Eric Johnson and Kim Basinger, we'll just have to wait and see. Do you think Fifty Shades Darker will be a success?
