The iconic wedding scene in Fifty Shades Freed is being filmed this week in Vancouver. Read on for details of one of the most iconic scenes in the trilogy!
Fans of Fifty Shades who have been following our coverage of the production of the final two movies know that we have been tracking the progress as all new info comes out. Luckily, it seems that filming is moving ahead smoothly and on schedule. We wrote that the pivotal scene where Christian's helicopter goes down was recently filmed. Christian surviving the crash prompts him to (spoiler!) propose to Ana and sets the scene for the final film. Mrs. Grey, aka actress Marcia Gay Harden, recently took over the film's Instagram account and posted several behind-the-scenes pics of her and her fellow cast members. Her shots focused on preparation for the infamous party that Christian's mom throws in Darker. The actress didn't disappoint and gave us fans a glimpse at what being on set is like, including an adorable shot with her on-screen son Jamie Dornan.
Finally, the moment Fifty Shades lovers have been waiting for has arrived! It appears that filming on Fifty Shades Darker might have wrapped up, because it's being reported that filming for the major wedding scene in Fifty Shades Freed is going on in Vancouver on May 17 and 18. Fans of the series know that Anastasia and Christian finally tie the knot in the final book after overcoming several dramatic obstacles in the first two novels. Now we're hoping that some photos of the romantic scene will be leaked so we can get a look at what Mr. and Mrs. Grey wore for the big day. We can usually count on some social media savvy cast members or fans to give up some pics. Of course we'll be sure to share any news here with you! We still have to wait until February 2018 when Freed is released in order to see the wedding scene in its entirety. Unfortunately, that just seems like ages from now!
