Game of Thrones Season 6: Sophie Turner has a lady love in mind for Sansa

Poor Sansa. The Stark never has any luck with romantic relationships, but is there someone she can foresee a future with? Sophie Turner has a lady love in mind for her character in Game of Thrones Season 6!

Sansa Stark has had her fair share of toxic relationships, and that's putting it mildly. Between Joffrey Baratheon, Tyrion Lannister and Ramsay Bolton, she really hasn't had it going well for her. Now that she's at Castle Black with her brother Jon though things are finally looking on the up, and she might finally get some more agency in her love life. In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Sophie Turner revealed who she'd like Sansa to get with in the show, and one of her answers might surprise you. Turner gave a serious answer first and said: "In the GoT universe, I think she’s going to have to swing the other way – because the men thing isn’t working for her. Judging by Sansa’s relationship with Margaery … probably Margaery." We can't see that pairing happening any time soon though, given Margaery's circumstances in the Game of Thrones Season 6: Episode 6 trailer.

While it's hard to determine Margaery's true feelings about Sansa because she's an adept player at the Game of Thrones, we think the bond the two shared was probably the closest thing to a genuine relationship there was in King's Landing. Margaery offered Sansa refuge in Highgarden after all, and was never a big fan of Joffrey even though she was engaged to him. Margaery's name wasn't the only one Turner threw in the hat though, and this is where it gets a little weird. In true Game of Thrones fashion, Turner said she'd love to see Sansa get with her sister Arya. There's never enough incest in Westeros, right? Turner continued: "Or [Sansa could hook up with] Arya – because I’d like to see that happen. I’d love a love scene between Arya and Sansa." On your own Sophie, on your own!
