Guardians of the Galaxy 2, will we get a teaser trailer at San Diego Comic-Con?

We already know that Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will be at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, but will they premiere a teaser trailer at the event?

San Diego Comic-Con has become a pretty important event for blockbuster movies over the past few years. Movie studios clammer to get a space at the convention so that they can show off some never-before-seen footage of their upcoming films in front of countless incredibly excited fans. There's been a problem recently of footage exclusively shown at the event leaking to the general public, which has resulted in a few studios opting to skip Comic-Con, however, its importance is still undeniable. It's the perfect place to help build up some buzz for your film. If the fans are happy, then the studios should be happy. James Gunn recently announced that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be at Comic-Con this year, which has made us very happy indeed. Chris Pratt and many of the other cast members will be there, and we're hoping to see the film's first teaser trailer at the event.

Guardians of the Galaxy was such a huge hit, both commercially and with the fans, that people are really looking forward to seeing what comes next. It's a Marvel film unlike any other, in the sense that it isn't really a superhero movie. In many ways, it's Marvel's answer to Star Wars. The Guardians movies will be Marvel's space opera, and will help bring the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmic realm. Marvel has been very good at varying their superhero films: Captain America started off as a period piece war film and then moved into the thriller genre, the Thor movies have been fantastic epics, Ant-Man was a heist movie, the Iron Man films have been slightly more conventional superhero fare, but Iron Man 3 was almost like a buddy cop movie... Captain America: Civil War was just awesome.

Hopefully, James Gunn and Chris Pratt will introduce us to the very first teaser trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and it will wow us as much as Guardians of the Galaxy's did back in 2014. We can't wait to see Peter Quill and the team back in action, and hear what songs are on that Awesome Mix Vol. 2. We already know that Gunn's got incredible taste in music and we're expecting to hear some more fabulous tunes from the 70s and 80s. As for the film's plot, all we know so far is that the Guardians will be searching for Star Lord's real father, which we believe to be Kurt Russell as Starhawk (but don't hold us to that one). Are you eagerly awaiting Guardians Vol. 2's teaser trailer like we are?
