Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 has started with a bang and each of the women, in their own way, is taking new steps in dramatic directions. Check out our recap for Episode 1 ("Out with the Old, In with the New")
After what seems like no time at all, Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 is back. We pick up only two short months after Kim has given birth to her son, Saint West, and the season premiere begins with Khloé, Kourtney, Kim and Kylie all chilling out and talking about Kim's life as a mom. Khloé is clearly overwhelmed with all she's got going on in her life, most notably her estranged husband Lamar Odom's release from the hospital after suffering a near fatal drug overdose during Season 11. The latest trailer for Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 12 teased the return of Lamar, as well as Rob Kardashian, and it looks like we'll be seeing them fairly soon.
Naturally Khloé wants everything in Lamar's new home to be arranged once he arrives, but with her book tour coming up in New York, she elicits the help of her mother. Lamar isn't the only one who's going to have to get used to his new surroundings, the lovable and troubled Scott Disick, Kourtney's ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, has just moved into a new home. He's clearly having a hard time getting used to the idea that he and Kourtney are no longer together, saying to the camera: "Kourtney will always be a huge motivation in my life."
Over at Kourtney's house, she is getting ready for her appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show, and Kylie has come over for support since she's been a guest on the talk show many times. That's what sister's are for. Kris and Scott decide to take a cooking class together so that Scott can prepare healthy food for his children when they come over to stay and he so badly wants Kourtney to see him as a good parent. While in New York on her book tour, Khloé has been getting a lot of angry texts from Caitlyn, after an interview Khloé did with Howard Stern.
Khloé called her mother for advice, and Kris in turn took it upon herself to call Caitlyn. During their conversation, Caitlyn erupted at Kris exclaiming that Khloé shouldn't have brought her up, to which Kris rightfully referenced Caitlyn's cutting, high profile magazine interview she did and retorted: "What do you think I said to you about Vanity Fair, you f***ing say something nice or don't say it at all!" She tearfully continued to say: "You were her dad since she was 5 years old, like, give her a break!" Around this time, we were wondering where Kendall was hiding, but it didn't take long to see her angry phone call with brother Rob Kardashian, as teased in the clip from KUWTK Season 12: Episode 1.
Scott is really doing all he can to impress Kourtney and while out shopping with Kris for utensils to decorate his kitchen, in preparation for a dinner party he wants to throw for the family. Cut to Kourtney's house for dinner and apparently Kim's vagina looks amazing. Phew. After the sisters hear that Kris is helping Rob out with a down payment for his house, they are angry at their mother for enabling him. To which Kris replies: "I mean the s*** that we’ve all gone through, you guys can do anything you want, and it’s ok and all I’m supposed to do is accept it all and I’m gonna do the same thing for him, so stop judging me." Got that, kids?
The next day, upon seeing at Lamar's beautifully furnished home, Khloé realizes just how much their mother helps them out and admits: "We're all very verbally abusive to you and I think we need to stop doing that." We've been saying that for eleven seasons! Check back for more news on next week's Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode, where tensions seem to be mounting between Kourtney and Kylie's boyfriend, Tyga. What are you most looking forward to seeing this season?
