Little Mix is the winner of the Special International Female Award at 2016's melty Future Awards! Congratulations girls!
Just in case you hadn't heard, the melty Future Awards are going down tonight and the winners are coming in thick and fast! Little Mix is the winner of this year's Special International Female category at the MFAs. Who's Little Mix? 2011's X-Factor winners, U.S. and U.K. chart toppers, they are 2016's version of the Spice Girls. They're about to embark on a world tour, but before that, they have to come to terms with the fact that they are the winners of 2016's Special International Female Award at the metly Future Awards! 2.4 million votes were cast for this year's MFAs (you guys really enjoyed voting this year), which is a record breaking number for us here at melty. And when it came to the prestigious Special International Female category, you couldn't see beyond the British girl band, Little Mix. They couldn't attend the event tonight, yet they did send us this little thank you video. Check it out below.
Aren't they a nice bunch! Perrie Edwards, Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall all seem like lovely ladies and they are the deserved winners of this prize, which is also their first ever French award. Oh-la-la. They brushed aside competition from world famous superstars such as Cara Delevingne and Chloë Grace Moretz, TV star Johanna Braddy and YouTube sensation Zoella. They're also coming to Paris for the very first time on June 23 to hold a concert at the Grand Rex. What a coincidence, the Grand Rex is also where we are holding 2016's MFAs! We can't wait to see them perform in France. We loved their last album, Get Weird, but we are especially big fans of their latest single, Secret Love Song, featuring the one and only Jason Derulo. If you don't want to miss a second of tonight's festivities, you can watch the MFAs live on melty. Congratulations to Little Mix, this year's recipients of the Special International Award! What is your favorite Little Mix song?
