Litchfield Prison is getting a new inmate in the next season of Orange Is The New Black as Judy King will be joining the group. Read on for all the details and what we can expect from this new character

Although the Season 4 premiere of Orange Is The New Black is still months away, there's been some good news coming out about one of our favorite shows in recent memory. First of all, we now know that the next batch of episodes will be released on Netflix on June 17! So even though we're in for a long wait, at least there's a definitive end in sight. We were also very excited when it was recently announced that OITNB had been renewed up to Season 7! That means fans don't have to worry for awhile about when our beloved show will eventually end. Yael Stone, who plays kooky inmate Lorna Morello, recently teased that there will be big changes in store when Season 4 airs this summer. According to the actress, the prison family will be changing and we are in store for some more heart-wrenching story lines across the board. We definitely can't wait to see what she meant by this as we know the show oftentimes has us reaching for a box of tissues.

Actress Blair Brown will play Judy King in Season 4 of Orange Is The New Black and she appears to be a cross-between Martha Stewart and Paula Deen. However, the actress would rather her character not be compared to the two women, despite any obvious similarities. Although Judy King is a cooking show host and is Southern, she wants to draw the line there at the comparisons and asserts that this new character is really the brain-child of the show's creator Jenji Kohan. Brown recently spoke to TV Guide about her character saying: She's slightly appalling and very good and very cheerful and probably fairly amoral. And it's so interesting to watch because she's so other than anybody else in prison. And of course, Judy's greatest ally when she comes in is Poussey Washington." It will probably work to Judy's benefit when she enters the prison that she has a huge fan in Poussey, as we're sure she will do her best to protect her idol and help her integrate into Litchfield without the typical initiations that accompany being the new inmate. We can't wait to see how the rest of the prison takes to her arrival. For more Orange Is The New Black updates click the green subscribe button below!
