If you haven't seen the first episode of Preacher (why the hell not!), you can now watch it on YouTube for free... if you live in the US!

Preacher literally exploded onto our television screens last week and we can't stop talking about it. Some have called it one of the best comic book adaptations of all time, Preacher's first episode was a resounding hit with both the fans of Garth Ennis and artist Steve Dillon's comic book series and the critics. We're all eagerly awaiting the second episode. To think that this was brought to us by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg just makes it all even more surprising. They've worked together on numerous occasions, but have always developed comedies together. Yet Preacher's pilot saw them embrace the source material by keeping the same unique tone, but adapting it properly for the small screen. You can now watch the pilot to AMC's new show on YouTube for free! Preacher just keeps on surprising us.

AMC has made the first episode of Preacher available on their YouTube page, which is utterly fantastic. Unfortunately, you can only watch it if you live in the US, which is a bit of bummer for all of you who don't live in the land of the free and home of the brave. However, there are always other ways of watching things (we are not telling you to do anything illegal by the way, that didn't come from us). If you live in the UK and are an Amazon Prime subscriber, then you can watch the first episode of Preacher there. We strongly recommend that you watch the pilot, which sees Dominic Cooper play Jesse Custer, a mysterious Preacher in a small American town, who's trying to right his wrongs. Check out our review of the Preacher's first episode to find out what we thought of it, but you can probably already tell that we are big fans. What did you think of Preacher's first episode?
