Michael Mando, who's known for his roles in Better Call Saul, Orphan Black and of course Far Cry 3, will be joining Tom Holland and co. in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Michael Mando may not be a recognisable name to most of you, but you will surely recognise his face. He's appeared in a lot of stuff, ranging from movies, to TV shows, and even video games. He's most famous for playing Nacho Varga in Breaking Bad's spinoff show, Better Call Saul. However, his most impressive turn was in the video game Far Cry 3, in which he played the utterly unhinged villain Vaas. His monologue from said game is probably one of the best monologues in history and succeeds in making his character one of the most threatening onscreen presences we've ever seen. And now it looks like Mando has now landed himself a role in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michael Mando will be joining the likes of Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Donald Glover and Michael Keaton in Spider-Man: Homecoming. This film's cast just keeps on getting better and bigger every day. We've been speculating about who Donald Glover could be playing in the movie. Here at melty, we would love to see him play Miles Morales, but that's nothing but a pipe dream at the moment. As for Mando, due to his past playing rather shady characters, we think that he's probably been brought on board to display his undeniable skills in portraying threatening characters. Vincent D'Onofrio also spoke about how much he would like to play the Kingpin in the film, but isn't very likely. Maybe Mando could fill that hole. Who do you think Michael Mando will be playing in Homecoming?
