The Internet is exploding with Spider-Man: Homecoming news right now, as casting announcements emerge left, right and center. Enter Logan Marshall-Green and Martin Starr!

This week it was announced that Donald Glover will be in Spider-Man: Homecoming and the Internet was rife with speculation; could he be Miles Morales? Or is he too old to play that character as Tom Holland is a much younger Spider-Man? Regardless, Donald Glover isn't the only big comedy name to join the film, as Spider-Man: Homecoming is in the midst of a whole slew of new casting announcements. The Hollywood Reporter has said that while Michael Keaton is in line to play the main Big Bad of the film, Logan Marshall-Green is also in talks to join as another villain. Deadline has also reported that Silicon Valley's Martin Starr is joining the film, but likewise it's unknown what role he's playing. Our bet would be on a comedic role though!

So what villain could Logan Marshall-Green be playing if Michael Keaton is portraying Vulture in Spider-Man: Homecoming? We'd love to see him as Kraven the Hunter! In the Spider-Man animated series there was an episode where Spidey fought both Vulture and Kraven and it worked really well. Not only are the characters of Vulture and Kraven so quirky and different, the pair could make a very interesting final fight because Vulture fights from the air, while Kraven is a fierce warrior on the ground, so Parker would really need to keep his wits about him. As long as the Spider-Man films don't revisit the Green Goblin so soon though, we really don't mind what villain they go with.
