Spider-Man: Homecoming is still under production and on a break from filming, Tom Holland posted a brilliant behind-the-scenes selfie that is truly one of a kind. Check it out below!
There's been rumors that Marvel and 20th Century Fox have been in talks discussing the entry of the X-Men into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and while that is huge news, it's sure to be some way off yet, and until then we've got a more real success story to look at - Spider-Man. A few years ago it didn't look like Spidey would ever be joining the MCU and teaming up with the Avengers but now here we are, with Tom Holland having made his debut as the webslinger in Captain America: Civil War, and a new Spidey solo film titled Spider-Man: Homecoming on the horizon! Shooting for the upcoming Spider-Man blockbuster is well underway now, and to whet our appetite for new photos, Tom Holland has posted a hilarious behind-the-scenes selfie. Check it out below!
In the caption Holland says: "1 Year until #spidermanhomecoming hits theaters, are you ready...thought you would like to see a little selfie I took earlier." In the photo, Holland appears to have been in the middle of filming a wall-crawling scene, when he decided to take a little break to take a selfie with the rest of the crew. He looks to be pretty high up, and while we'd obviously love the chance to play Spider-Man, we're certainly glad we're not in his shoes! The costume Holland is wearing looks near identical to the one he was wearing in Captain America: Civil War, which is to be expected since Tony Stark helped him with the modifications to the suit, and as the suit looks so good we really don't mind if we have to wait for the sequel for another new iteration.
