Suicide Squad: Batman, Joker and Harley Quinn are 'Blitzing' in the new trailer

The latest trailer for David Ayer's Suicide Squad was premiered at last night's MTV Movie Awards and it looks like the movie's going to be as mad and as wacky as we had hoped! Check it out below

“This is the deal. You disobey me, you die. You try to escape, you die. You irritate or vex me…” Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn then cuts in, “I’m known to be quite vexing. I’m just forewarning you.” Rick Flagg then finishes his speech with a look at her and says, “You die.” This sets up the tone for this new Suicide Squad trailer, which is much in line with the previous trailers we’ve seen from DC and Warner Bros.’ next comic book movie. We can’t really call it a superhero movie because, well, they aren’t superheroes. They are super villains. Despite reports suggesting that Suicide Squad was undergoing expensive reshoots to make the movie funnier, this trailer seems to have kept the same irreverent tone of the last two, much to our relief. Jai Courtney’s claims that the reshoots were to add more action may not be totally untrue. Check out the new Suicide Squad trailer, which was premiered during the MTV Movies Awards last night, below.

“Don’t tell me what to do, and don’t tell me what to say.” The lyrics from Grace’s song "You Don’t Own Me" must sum up how the members of the Suicide Squad are feeling during this film. However, if these trailers are to be taken seriously, it seems as if their asses are very much owned by Amanda Waller. Although we expect them to, as Queen put it, break free during the course of the movie. This new Suicide Squad trailer features a lot more footage from Will Smith’s Deadshot, Jay Hernandez’s El Diablo, Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn, and most interestingly, Jared Leto’s Joker and Ben Affleck’s Batman. However, we never actually see Batfleck’s brooding bearded face. We’ve all agreed that he was one of the best things about Batman v Superman and we are very excited to see him inhabit the role once again. This new Suicide Squad trailer has all but dampened our excitement for David Ayer’s ‘villains saving the world’ movie. What did you think of the new Suicide Squad trailer?
