Suicide Squad is more talked about on social media than Rogue One

People are getting more excited about David Ayer's Suicide Squad on social media than Rogue One and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Check out the details below!

It's hard to believe that Suicide Squad is just around the corner. David Ayer's DC Comics movie is getting people very excited. We're looking forward to it ourselves, mainly because the film seems quite promising. We've already heard a lot about Jared Leto's performance as the Joker. David Ayer himself said that Leto's Joker is "absolutely incredible". We also can't wait to see Margot Robbie take on the role of Harley Quinn. She loved playing the DC villain and Margot Robbie could possibly star in a Suicide Squad spinoff movie, which would see Harley Quinn team up with some of DC's other female superheroes and villains. It turns out that people have been talking about Suicide Squad on social media more than Rogue One, Star Trek Beyond and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

According to Deadline, "[Suicide Squad] generated the most social media conversations at 66K last week." These numbers were from June 17 to 23. This means that Suicide Squad was more talked about than Rogue One, Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them (which is a Harry Potter spinoff by the way), and Star Trek Beyond. Now, it is true that Suicide Squad is closer to its release date than Rogue One, but Star Trek Beyond comes out on July 22, yet it still can't hit the level of buzz that Suicide Squad has. Unfortunately for Warner Bros., not too many people seemed that interested in The Legend of Tarzan, which also stars Margot Robbie, however, they're definitely hoping that Suicide Squad can be a huge hit for them. The future of DC's cinematic universe kind of needs it to be a hit both commercially and with the fans. Suicide Squad hits theatres on August 5. Will you be watching Suicide Squad when it comes out?
