Suicide Squad's new character posters go down the comic book route

Suicide Squad is almost here, and we are seeing a bucket load of new character posters! Check out the new comic book inspired character posters below.

WORST. HEROES. EVER! But you have to say that they make for pretty good posters. Suicide Squad's gone all out on this unique neon/comic book inspired theme. The characters themselves look like they've come straight off the pages of a comic. The Joker, Harley Quinn, Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Enchantress, El Diablo... They all look like the character from the comics. In an age when most superhero films seem to be going for a more realistic approach, Suicide Squad has gone in completely the opposite direction, and hats off to them, because the film looks visually stunning. These new character posters are equally as stunning. Check them out below (via Flickering Myth).

Warner Bros. has pulled out all the stops on these posters. They've gone all out and have created some real works of art which would look good on anybody's wall. Warner Bros. only just debuted some new Suicide Squad character posters yesterday, but these newer ones are even more spectacular. To be honest, yesterday's posters were a bit more formulaic. The idea of blending real images of the actors in their respective roles and surrounding them with colorful drawings was a novel one, and certainly helps to put forward the fact that this is a comic book movie unlike any other. Adding the words "Crash!", "Bang!", "Bow!" and "Pow!," just strengthens the whole comic book vibe these posters are going for. They even added the Joker's signature "Hahahah" into the mix. Suicide Squad is set for an August 5 release date and has been given a PG-13 rating. Nope, it won't be R-rated unfortunately. What do you think of these new Suicide Squad character posters?
