Don't trust everything you see on Supergirl, that's the message that EP Andrew Kreisberg appeared to give when he teased what to expect from Supergirl Season 2! Check out what he had to say below.
We were left with a pretty big cliffhanger at the end of Supergirl Season 1, because while Kara Danvers was able to save the day, Hank had a vision that will rock her world - her adoptive father Jeremiah Danvers is alive. But was it real? Or did someone plant the vision of Jeremiah trapped in a Project Cadmus facility as an attempt to lure Martian Manhunter into a trap? Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg has teased that we shouldn't just believe what we see. He said: "You should question everything. Until you see Jeremiah Danvers walk through the front door, everything can be questioned." And even when he does walk through the front door, who's to say that it's really Jeremiah? Hank has shown that he's a shapeshifter, so what if he's not really the last martian out there?
So what can we expect from Supergirl's sophomore outing? It's been announced that Tyler Hoechlin will play Superman in Supergirl Season 2, so could we see the two Kryptonians begin to create the Justice League? The Legends of Tomorrow Season 2 finale (mild spoiler warning) introduced the Justice Society of America, so would The CW want the Justice Society and the Justice League co-existing at the same time? Probably not as it could get confusing. Furthermore with Zack Snyder's upcoming Justice League film, the execs at DC probably want to save the debut of the live-action superhero team-up for the upcoming blockbuster. We wouldn't be surprised to see the seeds of it sown in Supergirl Season 2, but we expect it to be more of an endgame thing. For regular updates on Supergirl click the green subscribe button below.
