The 100 returns March 31 with "Stealing Fire", whose synopsis hints that both Clarke and Octavia will have to make some difficult choices
Despite the controversy over the decision to kill off fan favorite Lexa, The 100's executive producer, Jason Rothenberg, has promised even more deaths when the show's third season returns with "Stealing Fire" March 31. We left Arkadia having learned of Bellamy's decision to rebel against Pike, the Sky People's dictatorial new leader, and attempt to rescue hostages Kane, Sinclair and Lincoln, with the latter an obvious candidate for the axe after actor Ricky Whittle announced his casting in the upcoming American Gods back in January. What's more, the trailer for Season 3 showed a furious Octavia beating brother Bellamy senseless in an as-yet unseen scene, suggesting that his mission to free the trio doesn't go off as planned. Take a look at the recently-released synopsis for Episode 9, which doesn't bode well for either of the pair, and let us know what you think.
As the first promotional images for the episode showed, Octavia looks set to return to Arkadia in order to help her brother free the captives, but what if - as fans suspect - the siblings are forced to make a choice about who to save? The synopsis for "Stealing Fire" reads as follows: "Clarke discovers a shocking truth, and Octavia is forced to make a decision that could have devastating consequences. Meanwhile, Kane and Abby share a moment." As for Clarke, we know that Clarke will attend Lexa's funeral in Polis alongside Murphy and Roan, but what 'shocking truth' will she uncover? Something relating to the next Commander? Check out the latest spoiler photos for The 100 Season 3: Episode 9, and let us know your theories regarding Octavia's decision. Do you think the character will end up having to choose between her brother and the man she loves?
