The CW's Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl might be available on Netflix sooner than expected

The CW and Netflix have struck a deal which means that we'll be getting to see all of the latest seasons of our favorite scripted CW shows turn up on the popular streaming service earlier than usual!

The CW has an impressive roster of scripted TV shows: Arrow, The Flash, The 100, The Vampire Diaries, Supernatural and now Supergirl... That's already a pretty formidable lineup and we've only mentioned a small fraction of their shows. It's no wonder that Netflix wants to do business with them. Now that The CW is starting to bring together a lot of their properties (The Flash, Arrow, Supergirl and DC's Legends of Tomorrow will collide for a huge crossover event), people are more excited than ever to see what the network has to offer. It turns out that The CW and Netflix are about to reach an agreement which will see the latest episodes of our favorite CW shows turn up even earlier than before on the popular streaming service. That's right, we're going to have many Netflix binge watching sessions ahead of us.

According to Variety, many of The CW's big TV shows will be coming to Netflix a whole lot sooner than before. "Netflix and The CW are close to finalizing a megabucks new deal covering scripted series that significantly speeds up the availability of the shows to less than two weeks after each season ends on the network," wrote Variety's Cynthia Littleton. Originally you could stream the shows on Hulu, but talks broke down between Hulu and The CW. Apparently Hulu wanted access to all of the shows' episodes, yet The CW wasn't prepared to offer them that.

That's when Netflix supposedly stepped in. Many of The CW's shows are available on Netflix; Arrow and The Flash for example are already on there. However, the latest seasons generally appear just days before the new ones air. This deal means that you get the see latest episodes a lot sooner on Netflix, which is good news for us Netflix subscribers, but bad news for those of you who are still with Hulu. With The Vampire Diaries, Arrow, The Flash, Supernatural and Supergirl all getting premiere dates, we'd love the chance to rewatch the last seasons of those shows, to make sure we are completely up to date. Thanks to this deal with Netflix, we can now watch the latest seasons of our favorite CW shows a lot earlier. Which CW shows will you be watching on Netflix?
